Compliance and corporate security are an exciting field - not only from a scientific but also from a social point of view. It has a special dynamic that can be explored on many levels. It organizes and structures, but also raises many questions.
How does compliance work?
Who does it concern?
What is the sphere of action?
Who is responsible?
And who is actually liable?
This book attempts to break down and concretize these questions. She focuses on a very special part:
that of health, safety and environmental compliance with occupational safety as the core area. This topic was chosen because parallels can be found here between the new requirements for compliance and existing regulations of occupational safety law, some of which have a long tradition in Germany.
Compliance is a tool that needs to be put to practical use. At the same time, this tool is based on a vast amount of theoretical scientific knowledge from several disciplines and legal bases. The practical presentation is based on the implementation and presentation of a risk assessment.
This year, the complexity of compliance meets the unpredictability of a pandemic - what impact does this have on compliance and occupational safety and how can the tool be adapted?
